By the way, I'm such a dork that I video'd it
How cool is THAT????
P.S. I'm too curious for my own good. It's a female black swallowtail. And it IS a butterfly.

P.S. You may refer to me as The Queen High Mistress of the Universe.
Great job, Kristy! I am proud that my nature buffness is rubbing off on you. You are so lucky to get those shots, and you aquired them with much skill.
ReplyDeleteGood job, Young Skywalker.
Very Nice Kristy,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it wasn't one of those plague carrying moths, not sure my beekeeper could have helped if it was.
Seriously the pictures are great and the video was good also.
Thank You
What... no narration?
ReplyDeleteGreat shots and coverage. You may have launched this butterfly into a new career!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
Simply gorgeous. I've been a butterfly and moth watcher ever since I read Girl of the Limberlost when I was 10.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm glad you are a dork...Because the video showed how cool that butterfly is...
ReplyDeleteWell, that is a really nice butterfly!!:) and you are NOT a dork!
ReplyDeleteI like butterflys. However, our zoo has a butterfly garden and there are thousands of them flying all around. Let's just say I am probably not welcomed back there anymore. My instinct was to kill them!
ReplyDeleteHey do you know that your blog profile is disabled? i tried to click on the link to your blog and I couldn't get here.
That is pretty! I get giddy as a schoolgirl whenever I see a butterfly or hummingbird....
